Alan Tse, Design Principal

Alan is a graduate of UC Berkeley and has been working in the field of architecture for more than 25+ years carrying out projects from commercial interior, multi-family residential buildings & interior, custom homes, and residential remodels.  He has cultivated a deep expertise in interior architecture that blends modern design aesthetics and functionality. His career journey has allowed him to work on a diverse range of projects, from residential homes and commercial spaces to cultural institutions and hospitality environments. He believes successful design should not only inspire but also enhance the experience of its occupants.

Alan is passionate about creating spaces that reflect the unique identities of their users and unique homes for their owners.  His approach emphasizes a collaborative process, engaging clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and aspirations. He thrives on turning challenges into design solutions, ensuring that every project is both visually compelling and purpose-driven.  He collaborates with general contractors and subcontractors regularly through out the construction process to develop workable design solutions that meet our clients’ needs, schedule and expectations, and most importantly, to actively build the culture with the construction team.  Alan will be your main contact throughout the project, and the primary point of contact for the General Contractor & Subcontractors in facilitating clear communication and collaboration throughout the build process.  Alan ensures to keep homeowners informed with regular updates on progress, milestones, and any important decisions required.

Ann Kim

Ann brings nearly 30 years of design and project management experience in custom residential, retail and restaurant projects. She has worked for Cheng Design, Architecture & Light, McCall Design Group and Stanton Architects, among others. Projects include many of the new construction and remodel projects of Cheng Design, such as the Lindenwood Residence, the Ascension House, the Tiburon Bay House and House 7. Commercial projects include the Banana Republic flagship store at Rockefeller Center in New York City, Left Bank restaurant in San Mateo, and Pyramid Brewery in Sacramento. Ann received a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Master of Architecture from Yale School of Architecture.

Ann will oversee the development of your remodeling project, a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the project behind the construction site.  Ann monitors the progress and quality of work, ensuring adherence to architectural plans, specifications, and industry standards, with goals to provide solutions that align with the homeowner’s vision and goals.

Keith Shiles

Keith is an enthusiastic and detail-oriented designer with a strong foundation in design principles and technical drawing. Skilled in using industry-standard software, including AutoCAD and Revit, to create accurate and efficient design solutions. Adept at collaborating with architects and engineers to translate concepts into precise technical drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Possessing a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, Keith will be responsible to document on-site conditions, meeting notes and issues arise on/off site for various members of team to address through out the design stages and construction process.
